Heidi 2010 is a bottle conditioned perry made with Perry pears called Sack, the fruit was grown, processed, fermented and bottled within the County of Gloucestershire, therefore it is a true Perry! The pears were collected during the autumn of 2010, and stored in a freezer over winter, they were removed from the freezer 3 days before processing, allowing them to blet.
The original gravity was 1050, the final gravity was 1.000 making the alcohol content by volume 7.1% (inc .5% for priming sugar)
The perry was bottle conditioned on the 9th July 2012, with the addition of 5g of golden caster sugar. Other than this 5g of sugar there are no other additives, it is made with 100% pure perry juice and only 5g of sugar per bottle to bottle condition.
58 bottles were made, which will be ready for drinking after the 6th August 2012.
